Last summer I was in Swinoujscie on the Polish Baltic Sea and it was simply wonderful. The city has so much charm and offers a mix of relaxing beach days and cultural discoveries. The wide sandy beach invites you to sunbathe and swim, while the promenade invites you to stroll.
The architecture of the city is impressive, with many historic buildings and beautiful parks. I was particularly impressed by the lighthouse, from which you have a breathtaking view over the city and the sea. I was also delighted by the numerous small cafes and restaurants along the promenade.
I also took a trip to the nearby island of Usedom and enjoyed the picturesque villages and untouched nature there. It was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the city.
