Northeast Germany

Northeast Germany comprises a diverse region with a rich history and cultural diversity. The landscape ranges from the picturesque coasts of the Baltic Sea to the vast plains and forests inland. The cities in north-east Germany offer a mixture of historic architecture and Modern city life.

The cultural diversity can be felt in the regional cuisine, traditions and customs as well as in the various dialects and dialects. North-east Germany also has a thriving Art and Music scene, ranging from folklore to the avant-garde.

The economy in the region is traditionally based on agriculture, fishing and trade, but has also developed into a center for high technology and renewable energies.
