Personal travel report on "City Trips in Germany: Hidden Gems"

On my last city trip to Germany, I set out to find the hidden gems of German city trips. One of the undiscovered treasures I visited was the small town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The well-preserved medieval old town with its narrow streets and half-timbered houses was truly impressive. I could spend hours strolling through the picturesque streets and felt like I was in another time.

Another highlight of my trip was the city of Trier with its numerous Roman remains. Especially the impressive Porta Nigra, the best-preserved Roman city gate north of the Alps, was worth a visit. The history hidden in the old walls fascinated me.

But more modern cities like Freiburg im Breisgau also managed to captivate me. The green city with its numerous parks and the Freiburg Minster as its landmark has a very special charm. I enjoyed relaxing in the street cafés and watching the hustle and bustle of the city.

Overall, my trip was a complete success, and I was able to get to know some of the undiscovered treasures of German city trips. I can hardly wait to explore a new city soon and discover more hidden gems.
