Weimar totally impressed me culinarily! As a 19-year-old on a trip through the city, every restaurant visit became a highlight.
First, the "Anna Amalia." Truly classy and the food a delight. The quality of the dishes was first-class, and the service super friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was stylish, and you felt very welcome.
Then there was the "Scharfe Ecke." A small, cozy restaurant with traditional Thuringian specialties. Especially the Thuringian Rostbratwurst was incredibly delicious. Along with a cool beer – simply perfect!
Not to forget the "Weinbar Weimar." A modern meeting point with a huge selection of wines. The wine list was impressive, and the sommeliers could give great recommendations. A nice place to end the evening.
Also super cool was the "Café Laden." Breakfast and cake there were a dream. The cappuccino was heavenly!
Every meal in Weimar became an experience. This city can simply surprise and pamper you culinarily. Eating in Weimar was an adventure that remains in memory!
