The Most Beautiful Places for a Vacation in Ukraine - A Personal Travel Report

At 36 years old, I have traveled to many countries, but Ukraine particularly surprised me. Kyiv, the capital, impressed with its mix of modern architecture and historic buildings. Maidan Nezalezhnosti is a must-visit. From there, great walks through the old town are possible.

Next, I went to Lviv. This city has an incomparable atmosphere. The cobblestone streets and Rynok Square invite exploration. The highlight was the sunset from High Castle Hill. The city panorama is breathtaking.

In Odessa, there was sun, beach, and sea. Primorsky Boulevard and the Potemkin Stairs were unforgettable. Especially in summer, the city has a lively flair. Cafés and restaurants on the beach, the sound of the sea - simply perfect.

Nature lovers should visit the Carpathians. The fresh air and picturesque hiking trails are refreshing. The Chornohora Ridge was a wonderful hike. The view from above on the mountains and valleys was priceless.
