When are the winter holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2024?

In Nordrhein-Westfalen, there are no Winter holidays for 2024. The school year in this federal state is instead planned with other holiday periods, such as the Easter holidays, which take place from March 25 to April 6, the Whitsun holidays, which are scheduled from June 4 to June 14, as well as other holiday phases later in the year. This planning follows the usual rhythm, whereby in some federal states of Germany, particularly in Nordrhein-Westfalen, winter holidays are not scheduled as a separate holiday period. Instead, students and their families have the opportunity to rest during other holiday periods throughout the year.
